Product details :

WÖSSNER Forged Piston - Manufacturer Ref. 8266DA

Designed for off-road displacements, this Wössner forged piston meets the expectations of demanding motorcyclists in engine parts. Machined from aluminum and treated at the skirt to reduce friction, it comes ready to install with its rings, circlips, and pin. This part is intended for cross use, compatible with the Yamaha YZ 490 (years 1982–1984) according to manufacturer specifications.

Manufactured in Germany

The design and finish of the skirt limit friction during initial uses and facilitate the break-in process. This piston is offered in oversize version A: check the bore of your cylinder before installation. For safe installation, follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding side clearance, torque specifications, and break-in procedure.
