The RACETEC RR profits from technologies, materials, the advanced processes and the know-how acquired par METZELER during the last years. It has a new profiles, structural materials, rubbers and tread pattern. The main advantages of RACETEC RR are: Grip in all circumstances, on the track and the road thanks to various rubbers offered Precision and stability, essential characteristics to both cornering and straight line thanks to the capacity of the tyre to absorb asperities of the asphalt Note, the rear tyre of RACETEC RR is dual compound, it has two rubbers, it is therefore able to provide excellent grip on corners as well as a very good stability at high speeds. Unlike its predecessor, all dimensions and rubbers of the RACETEC RR have the speed rating W between brackets. The block assembly of the horizontal central grooves of the tyre is designed to create a compact tread pattern in the central part to optimise stability in straight lines. The position of the cross-way grooves for improved grip on corners regardless of the asphalt, while minimising the effects of wear. RACETEC RR will be available in rubbers K1, K2 and K3. The riders will be able to easily differentiate them thanks to the labels affixed on the side of the tyre and thanks to the lines of colour decorating the tread pattern. K1 - SOFT rubber compound. It is fitted with a label on the side of the tyre with K1 written in Blue and a Blue line on the tread pattern K2 - Rubber MEDIUM of average hardness.
