The major development of the XXF model is the reduction in overall weight, thanks to the use of an aluminium body that responds more quickly and with greater manoeuvrability to the rider's needs. What's more, the new adjustments make it a track-ready product that can be modified simply by adjusting the length and pressure exerted on the spring.
The aim is to give the rider precise control and maximum grip, even with worn tyres, with the shock absorber immediately balancing the forces. The confidence to take corners, even at tight angles, when changing direction or accelerating quickly. At the same time, it maintains excellent rear stability under hard braking on all types of road.
The innovation is hidden inside the shock absorber, with more technology increasing the damping coefficient and improving uniformity at high temperatures. The Ø14mm rod improves glide and the Ø30mm piston reduces the mass of the moving fluid. These improvements have led to a reduction in inertia forces, and consequently better control of damper oscillations. Particular attention has been paid to the ergonomics and precision of the adjustment controls, all located at the top of the shock absorber.
