
Derived from the multi-award-winning XXF, the Mono XXZ, until now reserved exclusively for our official teams, is now at the cutting edge of technology, with a completely new design and a host of technical innovations, including 4 settings: compression and extension at low and high speeds, with new configurations designed to give the rider the best possible feeling. Inside, it has been updated with technical solutions that optimise the fluidity of moving parts, improve the damping coefficient and increase stability at high temperatures, not forgetting the use of lightweight materials to reduce overall weight.The Ø14mm piston blade increases fluidity and the Ø30mm piston reduces the mass of fluid in motion for a faster response to stresses. Particular attention has been paid to increasing the sensitivity and precision of adjustments. XXZ is designed to reduce inertia and provide immediate control of suspension oscillations. The aim is to provide the rider with greater driving precision and grip than ever before, as well as uniform tyre wear thanks to instant control of the forces at play. This gives the rider maximum support when cornering, even at extreme angles of inclination or during rapid changes of direction, maximum confidence in opening the throttle on all types of track, and perfect stability of the rear end even during the most violent accelerations.
BITUBO XXZ31 Rear Shock Absorber (Ref. BW049XXZ31)
The BITUBO XXZ31 is a mono shock absorber designed for demanding roadsters seeking adjustable and precise equipment. Derived from the developments of the XX range, it incorporates solutions aimed at reducing moving masses and improving the sensitivity of the settings: 14 mm shaft, 30 mm piston, and an optimized hydraulic circuit for a more responsive reaction to rear suspension demands. Its design includes hydraulic preload and separate adjustments to refine the motorcycle's behavior according to your riding style and road conditions.
Designed to offer a wide range of adjustments, the XXZ31 allows for tuning of rebound, low and high-speed compression, as well as preload and height. These capabilities make the shock absorber adaptable to chassis tuning, riding on winding roads or fast routes, without promising unverified numerical gains. Compatible with several high-performance sports and roadster models, it is specifically listed for certain BMW S 1000 RR models (2016–2018).
