Derived from the multi-award-winning XXF, the Mono XXZ, until now reserved exclusively for our official teams, is now at the cutting edge of technology, with a completely new design and a host of new technical features, including 4 settings: compression and extension at low and high speeds, with new configurations designed to give the rider the best possible feeling. Inside, it has been updated with technical solutions that optimise the fluidity of moving parts, improve the damping coefficient and increase stability at high temperatures, not forgetting the use of lightweight materials to reduce overall weight. The Ø14mm stem increases fluidity and the Ø30mm piston reduces the mass of fluid in motion for a faster response to stresses. Particular attention has been paid to increasing the sensitivity and precision of settings. XXZ is designed to reduce inertia and provide immediate control of suspension oscillations.
The aim is to provide the rider with greater driving precision and grip than ever before, as well as uniform tyre wear thanks to instant control of the forces at play. This gives the rider maximum support in bends, even at extreme lean angles, rapid changes of direction, maximum confidence in opening the throttle on all types of track, and perfect rear-end stability even under the most violent acceleration.
BITUBO XXZB1 Rear Shock Absorber – Manufacturer reference: H0155XXZB1. Designed for demanding riders, the BITUBO XXZB1 incorporates competition-grade technology into a shock absorber aimed at roadsters seeking precision and sensations. Its lightweight construction and material choices aim to enhance suspension sensitivity, damping consistency, and stability under heavy loads.
The mono XXZB1 offers a complete range of adjustments to tailor the rear behavior according to riding style and road conditions: compression (high and low speed), rebound, pneumatic preload, and height. The Ø14 mm DLC-treated shaft reduces friction and increases fluidity, while the Ø30 mm piston limits the moving fluid mass for a quicker response.
Technical specifications:Common mounting examples: Honda CBR 1000 RR-R Fireblade (2021–2023). The XXZB1 is aimed at riders who want to fine-tune the chassis/wheelbase balance and regain feel at the rear, whether on winding roads or track sessions.
