The silencer must be fitted with two different connecting pipes (sold separately): either for a "high" version or for a "low" version. You can then choose between two positions: either "low version" or "high version".

• Low version connection: reference L-B12SO8T (sold separately)

Note: For the BMW R nineT Scrambler model: The silencer in the low position with connecting pipe can only be mounted if the passenger seat frame is removed. An additional aluminium silencer support from the BMW accessory range (reference BMW 77 11 8 564 071) must be fitted. Covers for the threaded fasteners of the main frame (reference BMW 77 25 8 536 857) are also recommended to conceal the bolted connections of the main frame.

• High version connection: reference L-B12SO9T (sold separately), important: When installing the connecting pipe L-B12SO9T, the passenger footrests must be removed on all models.
