The new dual-knob design allows the rider to make his choice in different conditions... The new double knob design also features a new plunger that is machined further back to give more clearance on the new KTM models, but also has extra reach to ensure maximum engagement....

The new design of the articulated latch eliminates the need to hook the rear of the fork guard, replacing the rear bolt with two smaller bolts at the front. The new, deeper latch eliminates false disengagements when passing through the starting gate. The articulated design also makes for easy installation.
