TRAILMAX MERIDIAN 130/80 R17 65H Tyre by Dunlop

The Dunlop Trailmax Meridian is a trail tyre primarily designed for road use, engineered to provide agile handling on tarmac and suitable grip on wet, cold, or loose surfaces. Its design promotes even wear and improved mileage potential while maintaining the versatile DNA of trail motorcycles.

Design and Materials

• The DFF tread pattern, shaped like an ice axe, enhances feedback for a more responsive ride.
• The RPC technology reduces warm-up time to quickly achieve tyre performance.
• The high silica content, Hi Silica, maintains the tyre's flexibility on cold surfaces and enhances grip on wet roads.
• The MT technology combines a softer compound on the shoulders with a harder compound in the centre to improve cornering grip.
• The harder centre compound contributes to increased tyre longevity.

Usage and Performance

• The road-oriented profile provides agile handling on paved routes.
• The pronounced tread effectively channels water away to enhance safety on wet surfaces.
• The improved mileage potential supports both straight-line journeys and repeated cornering.
• The even wear between front and rear limits premature replacement of the rear tyre.
• The design remains suitable for off-road outings on loose terrain despite its primarily road use.

Installation and Fitting

• The 130/80 R17 size with a 17-inch rim facilitates checking the intended fit for the motorcycle.
• The tubeless design without an inner tube simplifies installation on a compatible rim.
• The load index of 65 helps meet the load specifications required for the motorcycle.
• The speed rating H allows for the selection of a tyre that meets the vehicle's speed requirements.
• Manufacturer reference 637636
