TRAILMAX MERIDIAN 170/60 R17 72W Tyre by Dunlop

The Dunlop Trailmax Meridian rear tyre is designed for road trails with a 17-inch rim. Its profile and technologies enhance handling, grip on dry, wet, and cold surfaces, as well as uniform wear. It also maintains usability on loose terrain.

Usage and Performance

• The tread pattern effectively evacuates water to enhance grip on wet roads.
• The Hi Silica technology preserves the rubber's flexibility on cold surfaces to maintain grip in these conditions.
• The MT technology combines a softer rubber on the shoulders and a harder rubber in the centre to balance cornering grip and longevity.
• The design promotes even wear between the front and rear to limit premature replacement of the rear tyre.
• The improved mileage potential supports both straight-line journeys and repeated cornering.
• The ice axe-shaped profile enhances feedback for a more responsive ride.

Design and Materials

• The RPC structure reduces warm-up time to quickly reach the expected performance level.
• The high silica content maintains the rubber's flexibility on cold surfaces to facilitate grip.
• The multi-compound technology adjusts the composition between the centre and the shoulders to meet the different demands of the tyre.

Installation and Mounting

• The 170/60 R17 format is intended for rear mounting on a 17-inch rim.
• The tubeless design installs without an inner tube to comply with the intended tyre fitting.
• The radial structure supports the equipment of road trails equipped with this technology.
