ROADTEC SCOOTER Tyre 140/70 - 14 68P by Metzeler

The Metzeler ROADTEC SCOOTER is a rear road tyre designed for urban scooters. Its dual-compound design enhances grip on wet surfaces, while its structure facilitates manoeuvrability in urban areas. The quick warm-up contributes to performance from the very first kilometre.

Usage and Performance

• The dual-compound of the rear tyre improves grip on wet surfaces and those with low friction coefficients.
• The silica-rich compound enhances grip and tyre longevity.
• The numerous sipes in the tread pattern reinforce grip on wet ground, supporting rides in damp conditions.
• The rounded profile optimises the contact patch with the ground for more agile handling.
• The rigid structure enhances agility and manoeuvrability in urban environments.
• The rapid heating makes the tyre effective from the first kilometre.

Installation and Fitting

• The 140/70 - 14 format with the 68P rating helps ensure the tyre matches the intended fitment.
• The tubeless design is used without an inner tube for fitting on rims designed for this type of tyre.
• The rear position indicates the intended location of the tyre on the scooter.
