ANGEL GT Tyre 180/55 R17 73W by Pirelli

The Pirelli ANGEL GT is a Sport Touring rear tyre designed for long road trips. Its design combines grip on wet surfaces, stability, and even wear to support touring motorcycles, even when loaded. Its 180/55 R17 size is suitable for replacing a rear tyre with the same specifications.

Design and Materials

• The bi-compound solution of the rear tyre seeks to balance grip and longevity on road journeys.
• The 100% silica compound used on the front tyre and the shoulders of the rear tyre helps maintain grip on wet surfaces.
• The profile designed to achieve a uniform contact patch promotes even wear of the tyre.

Usage and Performance

• The Sport Touring design is suitable for riders covering long distances on the road.
• The grip on wet surfaces enhances confidence during rides in the rain.
• The tread pattern aids in water evacuation to maintain suitable handling on wet surfaces.
• The stability designed for heavily loaded motorcycles supports journeys with luggage or passengers.
• Even wear contributes to optimising the tyre's lifespan.
• The longevity claimed to be up to 30% greater than its predecessor reduces the frequency of replacements.

Installation and Mounting

• The 180/55 R17 size corresponds to a rear tyre with a width of 180 mm, an aspect ratio of 55, and a 17-inch rim.
• The tubeless design without an inner tube is suitable for wheels intended for this type of mounting.
• The load index of 73 and speed rating W facilitate checking the required specifications during replacement.
• The manufacturer reference 2317600 precisely identifies this tyre.
