TWIN AIR Air Filter - 151801
Designed for ATVs, this Twin Air filter combines a multi-layer construction and selected materials to ensure robust filtration and optimized airflow in the airbox. Suitable for off-road use, it aims to limit the entry of dust, sand, and impurities while maintaining a stable airflow for the engine.
- Three layers of foam: a first airy layer to trap larger particles, a second denser layer to retain fine particles, and a third flame-retardant layer.
- The third layer allows for the removal of the original backfire screen if necessary.
- Specific Twin Air adhesive ensuring the cohesion of the foams and resistance to solvents and gasoline.
- Dimensions slightly smaller than the original components to increase the available volume in the airbox and promote airflow passage.
- "Breathable" seal providing a large contact surface with the filter housing and bonding of the envelopes limiting infiltration between the layers.
- Filter version: Standard.
Manufacturer reference: 151801. Common compatibilities: notably KAWASAKI KFX 400 2WD (2004–2006). When installed and maintained correctly, it is a reliable choice for motorcyclists and ATV riders seeking filtration suited to off-road conditions.
