Features
Magnum Shielding Throttle / Idle Cable (manufacturer part no. 74218) — Braided cable with a vintage look and silver carbon finish, designed for road and custom motorcycles. Intended for throttle controls and idle adjustments, it combines classic aesthetics with components designed for regular use.
- Construction: KARBONFIBR braiding with carbon fibre finish and polished, plated silver elements.
- Outer sheath: transparent, scratch-resistant on paint and chrome, and formulated not to yellow.
- Inner sheath: anti-friction linings and factory lubrication for smooth operation of the control.
- Mechanical characteristics: 90° bend angle, travel 12.1 cm (4-3/4"), housing length 120.5 cm (47-1/2").
- Housing material: fluoropolymer for long-lasting glide.
- Accessories: nylon adjustment inserts; polished and plated fittings.
- Compatibility & assembly: also suitable for recent Mikuni carburettors; assembled in the United States.
- Notes: the indicated length refers only to the outer sheath (bend excluded). Cables for applications before 1996 with threaded bends, after 1996 with non-threaded bends.
