MAGNUM SHIELDING – Clutch Cable (Manufacturer Part No: 72288)
Designed for vintage machines and touring bikes, this MAGNUM SHIELDING clutch cable combines aesthetics and functionality. The outer sheath made of crystal FEP fluoropolymer provides protection against scratches on paint and chrome, while the polished braiding and carbon/silver finish give it a neat look suitable for customs and large trails. Assembled in the United States, it features a low-effort design for precise and smooth clutch operation.
- Sheath: Crystal FEP fluoropolymer, durable and scratch-resistant
- Interior: Pre-lubricated anti-friction lining for smooth operation
- Finishes: Carbon braiding, polished fittings, and aesthetic tensioner with integrated waterproof seals (no bellows)
- Sealing: Rubber seal on the transmission fitting to limit leaks
- Adjustment: Nylon inserts and tensioner positioned at 80 cm (31-1/2") — cable measured with tensioner fully screwed in
- Stroke / Travel: 79 mm (3-1/8")
- Manufacturing: Assembled in the United States, compliant with OE specifications in fit and construction
