This cylinder kit from Malossi is aimed at urban motorcyclists looking for a precision engine part for their 250cc engines. The kit includes a cylinder, piston, and rings made with materials and treatments specified for dimensional stability and optimized sliding surfaces.

• Cylinder: high-silicon aluminum primary alloy, heat-treated and tempered. Sleeve treated with silicon carbide deposition in a nickel matrix and cross-honed in two diamond passes. Machining done on CNC machines, with strict tolerances.
• Piston: extra-compact three-ring model, special high-silicon aluminum alloy with low thermal expansion, sliding walls coated with tin. CNC machining, lightweight and reinforced components.
• Rings: spheroidal cast iron S10 chrome compression and scraper rings; second scraper in a three-piece special chrome steel.
• Assembly: cylinder-piston couplings machined with a coupling tolerance of 0.05 mm. Recalculated and enlarged heat exchange surfaces.
