AXP Adventure Skid Plate - PHD 8mm - for Outback Motortek Crash Bars (Manufacturer Ref: AX1776)
Designed to protect the engine block and cases of your BMW F900GS, this AXP skid plate made of 8 mm thick HDPE offers robust and lightweight protection for road outings and challenging trails. Compatible with Outback Motortek crash bars, it also covers the exhaust and integrates 8 mm foam glued to the lower reinforcement to better absorb impacts and reduce vibrations.
- Material: HDPE (high-density polyethylene) – a combination of strength/slip
- Thickness: 8 mm
- Weight: approximately 2.6 kg
- Mounting: front and rear systems secured to the engine block with shimming for increased strength
- Specifications: compatible with Outback Motortek crash bars; does not cover the water pump
HDPE absorbs shocks, regains its shape after impacts, and allows for sliding over obstacles rather than catching — an asset for riders seeking durability and lightweight performance on roads and trails. Check compatibility with your F900GS year and other accessories before installation; a version incompatible with crash bars is available under reference AX1772.
