AXP Xtrem Skid Plate with Linkage Protection - HDPE 8mm (Manufacturer Ref: AX1803): an off-road skid plate designed to protect the lower frame and linkage on Cross machines. Made from 8 mm high-density polyethylene, it has a lightweight of approximately 1.5 kg and comes in a black finish.
- Material: HDPE 8 mm — 40% lighter than aluminium.
- Protection: fully covers the frame up to below the footpegs, protects the water pump, and features a double thickness at the rear to shield the linkage from impacts.
- Compatibility: specific fit for HONDA CRF450R / CRF450RX — check the fitment according to the model year.
- Contents: all necessary components and screws are included in the package.
- Colour: Black (reference AX1803).
The AXP Xtrem skid plate is aimed at Cross riders looking for robust, lightweight, and shock-resistant protection. The HDPE limits deformation, does not amplify resonance, and retains its qualities over time, making it ideal for absorbing the rigours of the terrain without adding weight to the machine. The enveloping profile protects sensitive components of the lower engine and the suspension linkage during technical passages.
