Features

BMC Air Filter – FM579/04

Designed by BMC for roadster use, this air filter replaces the original reference 110290011 and comes in a Standard version. Its monobloc construction eliminates weak points associated with seals and facilitates installation for easy maintenance on your motorcycle.

Filter material: special cotton soaked in low-viscosity oil, washable and reusable.
Structure: one-piece filter without a seal that could deteriorate.
Protection: epoxy mesh resistant to petrol vapours and oxidation.
Airflow: optimised design to minimise pressure losses compared to traditional paper solutions.
Maintenance: cleanable with specific BMC maintenance products to extend lifespan.

The performance of a cotton filter is assessed based on permeability, filtration, retention, and reusability.
