Manufacturer reference: GYA8821DOM ā Spark Force Dark Style (Full system), road-legal exhaust system.
This complete Spark system has been developed to optimise performance and radically transform the aesthetics of the famous twin-cylinder roadster from the tuning fork brand. Unlike the reference GYA8820 (which retains the low position under the engine), this version moves the silencer to a high/side position. Additionally, its "DOM" (Dark Homologated) designation indicates that it incorporates a catalyst in its pipes to comply with anti-pollution and noise regulations, allowing for legal use on public roads (Euro 3 standard).
Finish: stainless steel collector (AISI 304 stainless steel) + Force silencer in "Dark Style" finish (black stainless steel).
Compatible models: Yamaha MT-07 (2014-2020).
Specificity: high/side mounting that completely alters the bike's line compared to the original exhaust, with collector diameters specifically calculated to maximise engine torque.
Homologation: road-legal (compliant with European emission and noise standards Euro 3, which de facto validates FFM sound checks for potential access to the track). (Technical note: the homologation certificate is not updated for the Euro 4 standard applicable to models from 2017).
Weight: Data not provided for this high configuration.
Soundproofing: baffle (dB killer) included as standard (essential for road homologation).
Dynamically, this complete system transforms the behaviour and look of the Yamaha MT-07. The relocation of the silencer to the side of the machine gives it a much sportier and more aggressive appearance, reminiscent of a "Scrambler" or racing bike. The adoption of the Force silencer in a dark finish frees up the gas flow for better acceleration while providing a deep, throaty sound that enhances the CP2 engine, all while remaining fully compliant with regulations.
(Note: The installation of this road-legal system, as it incorporates a specific calibrated catalyst, does not require mandatory reprogramming of the original injection mapping).
