DD7-M802 Gear Kit – BAKER DRIVETRAIN
Replace the 6-speed Cruise Drive gearbox with a 7-speed set designed for large Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This complete Baker Drivetrain kit provides gear management designed to harness the torque of 96 ci, 103 ci, and 110 ci engines, with closely spaced ratios from 1st to 5th for a smooth and progressive acceleration.
- Type: 7-speed gear kit, polished finish
- Ratios: 1st 3.76:1 • 2nd 2.75:1 • 4th 1.55:1 • 5th 1.27:1
- Contents: 7th main gear, main bearing and seal, polished housing, seals (housing, side cover, and top cover), machined top cover with linear ball mechanism, DD7 sticker, ARP bolts, re-cal box, and Baker cables
- Design: machined 6061-T6 aluminium bearing housing, enlarged bearings (+28%) and retaining plates instead of circlips
- Installation: ready to install, no modification of the case or adjustment of the gear set; reuses the original selector bracket
- Origin: made in the USA
Ideal for Vintage/Classic and Touring/Grand Touring universes, this kit is particularly suited for the mentioned Road Glide ST and Softail Low Rider models to optimise gearbox behaviour on the road while maintaining a controlled sound and feel during gear shifts.
