Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (manufacturer part no: 387263)
This complete installation kit is aimed at riders preparing an "ape hanger" handlebar with 2" risers. It includes matching cables and hoses dressed in Sterling Chromite II® braiding, polished chrome fittings, and mounting components for a premium finish on a touring bike.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables (designed for throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic hose, brake hoses with PTFE inner tube, PVC outer sheath, copper washers, fasteners, and harness for turn signal extension.
- Construction: Signature Magnum braids (DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibre), fluoropolymer core, and stainless steel components — assembled in the United States.
- Safety & compliance: hoses compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications; kit designed for dual disc models with fully brazed manifold to limit leaks and alignment issues.
- Handlebar compatibility: height 45.5–51 cm (18"–20").
- Finish: chrome / clear for a high-end chrome look on your handlebar.
The cables are designed to reduce effort at the handlebars while meeting or exceeding OEM specifications for mounting and durability. Ideal for Harley-Davidson Softail 2014 (e.g. FLSTN, FLSTFB, FLSTF) and other customs equipped with an ape hanger.
