Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (manufacturer part no. 486251)
Designed to equip "ape hanger" handlebars and 2" risers, this Magnum Shielding cable kit includes everything needed for a tidy installation on customs and vintage touring bikes. The black vinyl sheaths and matte black hoses integrate discreetly on Harleys and other cruisers, while providing a clean presentation at the handlebars.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, XR DOT brake hoses, copper washers, fasteners, and fully finished wiring extensions for indicators and switches.
- Construction: reinforced stainless steel braided hoses, covered with abrasion-resistant nylon; all fittings polished before plating for a neat finish.
- Brake compatibility: for Non-ABS systems, hoses compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications.
- Handlebar dimensions: suitable for heights of 30.5–35.5 cm (12"–14").
- Finishes: solid black, vinyl sheath.
This kit targets riders looking for a clean and reliable setup on Touring/Vintage models. Particularly suitable for Harley Davidson FLSTN, FLSTFB, and FLSTF 1584 (2010). All parts are designed for low effort use and a close fit to OEM specifications.
