Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (ref. 486321) — Designed for the installation of ape hanger handlebars on cruisers and touring bikes, this kit includes everything needed to regain control of the throttle, clutch, and braking with a neat finish. The components are delivered in black, with vinyl housings, for a sleek and harmonious look on a wide range of customs and Road Glides.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions, clutch cable or hydraulic line, XR DOT brake lines, copper washers, fasteners, and fully finished wiring extensions for indicators and switches.
- Construction: polished fittings before plating; reinforced stainless steel brake lines, nylon sheathed for abrasion resistance; fully brazed collectors on the relevant kits.
- Performance: cables designed for low effort and maximum efficiency, meeting or exceeding OE specifications in fit, construction, and endurance. Lines comply with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications.
- Installation: equipped with -3 AN fittings for easy installation; designed for handlebars from 30.5 to 35.5 cm (12" to 14").
- Braking system: compatible with ABS.
Ideal for riders who modify the height of their handlebars while maintaining precise lever control and consistent braking response. Specifically compatible with several Harley-Davidson Road Glide CVO models from 2012–2013 (check vehicle reference before ordering).
