Magnum Shielding – Cable Kit (manufacturer reference: 486412)
Specifically designed for high handlebars such as ape hangers and 2" risers, this Magnum XR cable kit includes everything needed to neatly reconnect the handlebar controls on a touring bike. Sleek black finish, vinyl sheathing, and assembled components for a clean and durable result.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions, clutch cable or hydraulic line, XR DOT brake lines, copper washers, fasteners, and wiring extensions for indicators and switches.
- Construction: carefully polished fittings before plating; stainless steel braided brake lines with abrasion-resistant nylon sheathing; some kits with fully brazed collectors and -3 AN fittings for easier installation.
- Performance: cables designed for low effort and maximum efficiency, meeting or exceeding OE specifications in fit, construction, and durability. Lines comply with DOT requirements (FMVSS-106).
- Technical specifications: suitable for handlebar heights of 38–43 cm (15"–17"), black colour, vinyl sheathing, compatible with ABS braking systems.
Compatible with several Road King Special models (e.g. FLHRXS 2018–2020). Ideal kit for neatly reinstalling controls, brakes, and wiring during a handlebar change or riser installation.
