Magnum Shielding 486421 Cable Kit: a complete kit designed for "ape hanger" handlebars and 2" risers, intended to replace and extend controls and hoses on cruisers and touring bikes. It includes throttle/idle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, XR DOT brake hoses, copper washers and fasteners, as well as pre-terminated wiring extensions for indicators and switches for a cleaner and quicker installation.
- Compatible handlebar height: 30.5–35.5 cm (12"–14") — ideal for ape hangers.
- Brake hoses: reinforced stainless steel construction, abrasion-resistant nylon sheath for increased durability and excellent braking response.
- Compliance: hoses meet DOT FMVSS-106 specifications. For motorcycles equipped with ABS, the kit uses the existing lower brake line.
- Finish: matte black, vinyl-coated cables, polished fittings before plating for a neat appearance.
- Performance: cables designed for low effort action and maximum efficiency, meeting the fit, construction, and endurance requirements of original parts.
