Features

Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (ref. 489491) — Designed for ape hanger handlebars and 2" risers, this Magnum XR installation kit includes all the necessary connections to equip a touring bike with a polished style. Throttle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, DOT brake hoses, copper washers, fasteners, and wiring extensions for indicators and switches are provided ready to install for a clean and professional setup.

Compatible handlebar height: 30.5 – 35.5 cm (12" – 14").
Finishes: Black and chrome (body and fittings polished before plating).
Construction: low-effort cables, vinyl housing; stainless steel braided brake hoses with abrasion-resistant nylon sleeve.
Compliance: DOT hoses meeting FMVSS-106. -3 AN fittings and collectors fully brazed where applicable.
Contents: cables/hoses, mounting accessories and hardware, fittings and completed wiring extensions.

This kit provides a polished finish and installation suitable for custom touring bikes. Ideal for those seeking a complete and ready-to-install solution, without compromising on appearance or compliance. Notable compatibility: Harley-Davidson FLHRC 1690 ABS Road King Classic (FL3) 2014–2015.
