Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (ref. 489492)

Designed for touring and long-distance travel, this Magnum XR handlebar installation kit includes all the necessary wiring to fit an "ape hanger" handlebar or 2" risers. The kit provides a neat installation for handlebars measuring 38 to 43 cm (15"–17") with a sleek black finish and chrome accents.

• Includes: throttle and idle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, DOT XR brake lines, copper washers, hardware, and ready-to-use wiring extensions for indicators and switches.
• Brake lines: heavy-duty stainless steel construction, abrasion-resistant nylon sheath — compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications.
• Fittings and collectors: all fittings are polished before plating; kits with collectors use a fully brazed construction and -3 AN fittings for easier installation.
• Braking compatibility: designed for ABS systems by reusing the existing lower brake line.

Each cable is designed to minimise effort at the handlebars and ensure a close fit to original equipment (OE) in terms of construction and durability.
