Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (Ref. 489932)
This Magnum Shielding handlebar installation kit includes all the necessary components to equip an ape hanger or 2" riser handlebar. Designed for road and touring, it centralises cables and hoses for a clean and durable installation on custom bikes and large touring motorcycles.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, XR DOT brake hoses, copper washers, fasteners, wiring extensions for indicators and switches.
- Construction: reinforced stainless steel braided hoses, abrasion-resistant nylon sheathing; fully brazed collectors with -3 AN fittings.
- Finish and material: base colour black with chrome elements, vinyl housing, polished fittings before plating.
- Ergonomics: cables designed for low lever effort and optimal efficiency, suitable for handlebar heights of 38 to 43 cm (15"–17").
- Safety: hoses compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications.
Ideal for riders looking to maintain a neat aesthetic while simplifying cable routing on their Road King or other customs. Compatible with many Harley-Davidson Touring models (e.g. FLHR 1750 Road King 2021–2022) and adaptable to other machines with raised handlebars.
