Magnum Shielding - Cable Kit (manufacturer ref. 489961)
This Magnum XR installation kit includes everything needed to equip an ape hanger handlebar (height 30.5–35.5 cm / 12"–14") or used with 2" risers. Ideal for vintage/classic and touring preparations, it combines chrome/black aesthetics with components designed for the road.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, DOT XR brake lines, copper washers, fasteners, and fully finished wiring extensions for indicators and switches.
- Construction: vinyl sheaths, polished fittings before plating, and where necessary, fully brazed collectors for a fit and finish close to original.
- Braking: reinforced stainless steel lines, abrasion-resistant nylon sheathing, -3 AN fittings for simplified installation. Compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications.
- Performance: cables designed for low effort and maximum efficiency, formulated to meet or exceed OE specifications in terms of fit, construction, and durability.
Black finish with chrome touches to harmonise with modern Harleys and customs. Compatible with many Harley-Davidson type machines (Softail, Hydra-Glide, Heritage Classic, etc.). A complete kit for those who want to ensure finish, ergonomics, and reliability without hassle.
