MAGNUM SHIELDING Cable Kit (manufacturer part no. 787422)

This all-in-one cable kit is designed for cruisers and touring bikes equipped with high handlebars (ape hangers). It is intended to replace visible cables and hoses when repositioning the handlebars, and includes braided brake hoses, throttle and idle cables (or throttle-by-wire extensions), as well as the clutch connection (cable or hydraulic hose depending on the model), hardware, and ready-to-use switch extensions for a plug-and-play installation.

• Handlebar compatibility: height 38–43 cm (15"–17"), designed for handlebars with 2" risers.
• Finish: silver base with carbon fibre style braiding for a blacked-out look while maintaining subtlety.
• Construction: fluoropolymer sheath for longevity and consistent control feel.
• Braking: hoses compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 standards; compatible with ABS systems while retaining the existing lower line.
• Assembly: assembled in the United States.

This kit makes it easier to install higher handlebars without aesthetic modifications: the hoses and cables are designed to provide a clean run along the forks and frame, while harmonising the front end of the motorcycle.
