MAGNUM SHIELDING – Cable Kit (manufacturer part no. 387991)
Complete installation kit for ape hanger style handlebars: matching cables and hoses fitted with Sterling Chromite II® braid and polished chrome fittings for a neat appearance and enhanced protection. Designed for handlebars from 30.5 to 35.5 cm (12"–14") and compatible with 2" risers, this kit is aimed at touring bikes equipped with dual discs.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables for throttle-by-wire extensions, clutch cable or hydraulic hose, brake hoses, copper washers, fasteners, and wiring harness for turn signal extension.
- Construction: hoses with PTFE inner tube, DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibre reinforcement, Signature Magnum braiding, and PVC outer sheath; cables with fluoropolymer housing and stainless steel components.
- Braking: hoses compliant with DOT FMVSS-106, fully brazed manifold for dual disc models to eliminate unsightly threaded fittings.
- Finish: silver Sterling Chromite II® braid with highly polished chrome fittings for seamless integration on touring machines.
- Assembly: assembled in the United States according to the mounting and endurance specifications provided by the manufacturer.
