Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (ref. 589981)
This Magnum XR handlebar installation kit includes everything essential for mounting an ape hanger type handlebar or 2" risers. Designed for road and touring, it combines throttle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, DOT certified XR brake hoses, as well as the necessary hardware, copper washers, and fully finished wiring extensions for indicators and switches. The fittings are polished before plating for a neat finish and clean installation.
- Suitable for handlebar height: 30.5 – 35.5 cm (12" – 14").
- Construction: cables designed for low effort and high durability, compliant with or exceeding OE specifications.
- Hoses: braided stainless steel, abrasion-resistant nylon sheath for durability and consistent braking response. Compliant with DOT FMVSS-106.
- Finish: chrome with clear coating for protection and a road look.
- Housing material: stainless steel.
- Options: kits with fully brazed collectors and -3 AN fittings for easier installation.
