Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (manufacturer part no. 4871131)
Designed to equip "ape hanger" handlebars with 2" risers, this complete kit brings together matching cables and hoses for a clean and efficient installation. The Black Pearl™ finish provides a dark and refined look with polished black chrome fittings, intended for touring/road machines like the Road King Special.
- Contents: throttle and idle cables for throttle-by-wire extensions, hydraulic clutch cable or hose, braided brake hoses, copper washers, fasteners, and wiring for turn signal extensions.
- Construction: hoses with PTFE inner tube, aramid fibre reinforcement (DuPont™ Kevlar®), Signature Magnum braiding, and PVC outer sheath. Stainless steel housing.
- Performance: cables designed for reduced effort and precise response; compliant with OE specifications for fit and durability. Dual disc kit supplied with brazed collector for a leak-free and aesthetically pleasing finish.
- Safety and origin: hoses conform to DOT FMVSS-106 specifications. Assembled in the United States.
- Handlebar dimensions: suitable for heights of 30.5 to 35.5 cm (12"–14").
