Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (ref. 3871172) — Complete solution for ape hanger handlebars on road/touring bikes. This kit combines matching braided cables and brake hoses, designed for a clean and durable installation on high-handlebar motorcycles (2" risers). Ideal for long journeys where reliability and chrome aesthetics are as important as lever precision.

• Contents: throttle and idle cables for throttle-by-wire extensions, clutch cable or hydraulic hose, brake hoses, copper washers, fasteners, and harness for turn signal extension.
• Construction: hoses with PTFE inner tube, DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibre reinforcement, premium Signature Magnum braid, and PVC outer sheath; highly polished chrome fittings.
• Handlebar compatibility: height 38–43 cm (15"–17") — designed for ape hangers with 2" risers.
• Performance & safety: all cables are designed to reduce lever effort and optimise control, meeting or exceeding OE specifications for fit and durability; hoses comply with DOT FMVSS-106 standards.
