Magnum Shielding Cable Kit (manufacturer part no. 3871221)
Designed for touring bikes equipped with an "ape hanger" handlebar with 2" risers, this complete kit includes matching cables and hoses to restore your control and braking equipment while enhancing the chrome aesthetic. The components are assembled in the United States and are intended for installation on handlebars measuring 30.5 to 35.5 cm (12"–14").
- Kit contents: throttle and idle cables compatible with throttle-by-wire, clutch cable or hydraulic hose, braided brake hoses, copper washers, hardware, and a harness for turn signal extension.
- Construction: sleeves and hoses with Sterling Chromite II® braid and polished chrome fittings. Brake hoses with PTFE inner tube, DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibre reinforcement, and PVC outer sleeve.
- Performance and compliance: designed to reduce lever effort and ensure implementation in accordance with OE specifications for mounting, construction, and durability. Hoses comply with DOT FMVSS-106 requirements.
- Double disc specificity: fully brazed collector to limit the risk of infiltration and ensure a clean and aligned connection.
Chrome finish and silver/clear colour for a neat appearance on Harley-Davidson Road King and other custom touring bikes. Ideal for restoring an overall look and a crisp control without compromising on appearance.
