Type S Mudguard by Puig
This Puig rear mudguard protects the rear part of the motorcycle, the shock absorber, and the wheel arch from splashes and minor impacts. Its ABS design with a metal bracket enhances protection while ensuring a proper fit for the Honda CB 750 HORNET.
Design and Materials
- The 4.5 mm ABS construction provides a lightweight and shock-resistant component to safeguard the rear of the motorcycle.
- The 3 mm metal bracket increases the rigidity of the mudguard to maintain its position during use.
- With dimensions of 285 mm high, 580 mm long, and 310 mm wide, it facilitates checking the fit before installation.
Installation and Mounting
- The height-adjustable metal bracket helps centre the mudguard over the rear wheel.
- Its design tailored for the rear position allows for control of the available space around the shock absorber and wheel arch.
Usage and Performance
- The coverage of the rear wheel limits splashes on the rear, shock absorber, wheel arch, and the legs of the rider and passenger.
- The integrated chain guard helps preserve the chain and maintain its lubrication.
Style and Finish
- The ribs of the mudguard visually enhance its integration with the front of the Honda CB 750 HORNET.
- The matte black and carbon-like finishes provide two looks to suit the motorcycle's visual appeal.
