Features

The PROX cast piston (manufacturer ref: 01.2217.A) is aimed at motocross riders looking for a replacement part that adheres to manufacturer specifications. Made from aluminium, it features a domed head with an integrated intake passage and a skirt designed for optimized lubrication during off-road riding.

Diameter: Ø 53.95 mm (oversize letter: A)
Compression: Standard
Specifications: 2 lubrication holes on the exhaust side skirt, intake passage, domed head
Material: Aluminium with MOS2 skirt treatment to reduce friction

Designed to withstand the demands of off-road use, this PROX piston will meet the necessary tolerances for reliable replacement in a cylinder suitable for oversize A. Ideal for engine refurbishment operations on motocross machines, it facilitates reassembly thanks to its markers and oil holes designed for the evacuation and lubrication of the skirt.

Common compatibilities: YAMAHA YZ 125 (CE08, CE05, CE03 — late 1990s / 2000s). Always check the oversize specification and manufacturer references before installation to ensure correct fit in terms of displacement and piston/segment clearance.
