VERTEX Cast Piston – Ref. 22712A

Designed for off-road competition, this VERTEX cast piston is aimed at motocross riders equipped with a KX125 (KX125L) from the 2000 to 2002 models. Made from aluminium, it adheres to the original profile and tolerances with a finish suited to the demands of motocross: lightweight, good thermal conductivity, and wear resistance inherent to high RPMs.

Compatibility: KAWASAKI KX 125 (KX125L) 2000 / 2001 / 2002
Piston Diameter: Ø 53.950 mm
Recommended Bore Diameter: 54.00 mm
Oversize: Letter A (oversize A)
Compression: Standard
Material: Aluminium (cast piston)

This oversize A piston is designed for a bore of 54.00 mm and leaves a piston-wall tolerance that complies with factory specifications. It directly replaces the original piston; however, be sure to check and, if necessary, replace rings, pin, and clips during reassembly. For a secure installation, follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding clearance and break-in procedure.
