In order to comply with road safety standards, it is essential to observe the rules for fitting lighting, light-signalling devices and number plates described in European Directives 2009/67/EC and 2009/62/EC.

It is advisable tocheck the inclination of the number plate before fitting, and if necessary, tobend the metal plate support so as to maintain an inclination within the standards (do not bend the metal support when it is inserted in the ABS part) (part supplied with certain wheel arches and plate supports).

French law requires all two-wheeled vehicles to have an approved rear reflector.
