Puig Racing Screen - GreyRef : 6847

Racing Screen by Puig

The Puig Racing screen features a double curvature derived from competition to reduce wind effect on the helmet. Made from high-impact resistant acrylic, it enhances wind protection and the aerodynamic coefficient of the motorcycle.

Design and Materials

• The high-impact resistant acrylic construction withstands shocks and exposure to the elements.
• The Racing shape, tested in a wind tunnel, optimises the screen design for aerodynamic use.

Usage and Performance

• The double curvature decreases wind effect on the helmet, improving comfort against the wind.
• The design reduces aerodynamic effect and wind protection by an average of 12.7% compared to a stock screen.

Installation and Fitting

• The absence of required rivets simplifies the installation of the screen.
• Mounting on the original fixing points facilitates integration onto the intended motorcycle.
• The model-specific design necessitates checking compatibility with the relevant model before fitting.
• Dimensions of 340 x 310 mm provide a concrete reference for checking space during installation.

Safety and Standards

• The rounded profile exceeding 2 mm on models since 2004 complies with the German TUV standard.
• The intended use on the road directs this screen towards motorcycle road trips.
