Racing Screen by Puig
The Puig Racing screen is a high-impact acrylic motorcycle screen designed for road use. Its double curvature reduces wind effect on the helmet and enhances wind protection.
Design and Materials
- The high-impact acrylic withstands shocks and weather exposure to support motorcycle use.
- The rounded profile of over 2 mm on models since 2004 enhances the screen's durability during use.
Installation and Mounting
- Attachment to the motorcycle's original mounting points facilitates screen replacement without altering its position.
- The absence of required rivets simplifies the screen installation.
- This screen is specific to each motorcycle, necessitating compatibility checks with the relevant model before installation.
Safety and Standards
- Compliance with the German TüV standard provides a regulatory benchmark for screen use.
- Designed for road use, it supports motorcycle journeys.
Usage and Performance
- The double curvature reduces wind effect on the helmet to enhance aerodynamic comfort.
- Wind tunnel testing improves the aerodynamic coefficient and wind protection by approximately 12.7% compared to an original screen.
Style and Finish
- The black colour provides a dark finish to the front of the motorcycle.
- The Racing type, derived from competition, enhances the sporty integration of the screen on the motorcycle.
