Racing Screen by Puig
The Puig Racing screen features a double curvature derived from competition to reduce wind effect on the helmet. Its impact-resistant acrylic design enhances wind protection and is suitable for road use.
Design and Materials
- The high-impact acrylic construction withstands shocks and weather exposure to support regular motorcycle use.
- The double curvature reduces wind effect on the helmet to improve comfort during rides.
Safety and Standards
- The rounded profile exceeding 2 mm for models since 2004 complies with German TüV standards.
- The TüV certification identifies a screen suitable for road use.
Installation and Fitting
- The fitting on the motorcycle's original mounting points maintains the intended installation location.
- The absence of required rivets simplifies the installation of the screen.
- The screen is specific to each motorcycle, necessitating a compatibility check with the relevant model before fitting.
- Its dimensions of 320 x 330 mm allow for checking available space before installation.
Usage and Performance
- Wind tunnel testing improves the aerodynamic coefficient to enhance airflow stability around the motorcycle.
- Wind protection increases by approximately 12.7% compared to original screens to limit the effects of airflow.
