Racing Screen by Puig
The Puig Racing screen is a black screen derived from competition, designed for road use. Its double curvature reduces wind effect on the helmet and enhances wind protection. Its specific design for each motorcycle makes replacement easy at the original mounting points.
Design and Materials
- Made from high-impact resistant acrylic, it withstands shocks and weather effects for long-lasting use.
- Its rounded profile of over 2 mm provides a finish that meets the design requirements of the screen.
Installation and Fitting
- Attachment to the motorcycle's original points simplifies fitting without modifying the bracket.
- The absence of required rivets reduces the number of components needed for installation.
- As the screen is specific to each motorcycle, the model must match the vehicle precisely.
Safety and Standards
- The screen complies with the German TüV standard for use in accordance with this standard.
- Its development for road use is suitable for public road travel.
Usage and Performance
- The double curvature decreases wind effect on the helmet to improve comfort during rides.
- Wind tunnel testing improves the aerodynamic coefficient and wind protection by approximately 12.7% compared to an original screen.
Practicality and Features
- Its dimensions of 360 x 285 mm provide a concrete reference for checking space before fitting.
- With a height that is 30 mm higher than the original, it increases the wind protection area.
