Racing Screen by Puig

The Puig Racing screen is designed for sports motorcycles and is inspired by competition. Its double curvature reduces the air effect on the helmet, while its wind tunnel-tested design enhances wind protection and aerodynamic efficiency.

Design and Materials

• Made from high-impact resistant acrylic, it withstands shocks and exposure to the elements.
• The double curvature limits air pressure on the helmet to improve comfort at high speeds.

Usage and Performance

• Wind tunnel testing improves aerodynamic efficiency to enhance air penetration.
• Wind protection increases by approximately 12.7% compared to a stock screen, reducing the airflow experienced by the rider.

Installation and Fitting

• Installation is carried out on the motorcycle's original mounting points to maintain the manufacturer's intended setup.
• The absence of required rivets simplifies the fitting of the screen.
• This screen is specific to each motorcycle to ensure a perfect fit for the model concerned.
• Its dimensions of 445 x 425 mm facilitate size verification before installation.

Safety and Standards

• The rounded profile of over 2 mm on models since 2004 complies with the German TüV standard.

Style and Finish

• The smoked finish adds a specific tint to the screen while maintaining its Racing format.
• The Racing profile, which is 40 mm higher than the original, alters the screen's line to complement the motorcycle's sporty position.
