Racing Screen by Puig
The Puig Racing Screen is designed for road use and derived from competition. Its double curvature reduces the wind effect on the helmet, while its acrylic construction provides suitable resistance to impacts and weather variations.
Design and Materials
- The impact-resistant acrylic construction helps the screen withstand shocks during road use.
- The rounded profile exceeding 2 mm on models since 2004 meets the German TüV standard.
Installation and Fitting
- Attachment to the motorcycle's original mounting points makes replacing the existing screen easier.
- Rivet-free installation simplifies the fitting of the screen.
- The screen is specific to each motorcycle, limiting its use to the intended models.
- Its dimensions of 330 x 310 mm facilitate checking the fit before installation.
Usage and Performance
- The double curvature reduces the wind effect on the helmet to enhance wind protection.
- Wind tunnel testing improves the aerodynamic coefficient compared to an original screen.
- With a height exceeding the original by 35 mm, it increases the wind protection area.
