Puig Racing Screen - GreyRef : PUI0174

Racing Screen by Puig

The Puig Racing screen is designed for road use on roadster and touring motorcycles. Its double curvature reduces wind effect on the helmet and enhances wind protection. Its smoked finish and competition-inspired design reinforce its integration on the motorcycle.

Design and Materials

• Made from high-impact resistant acrylic, it withstands shocks and aging to support regular motorcycle use.
• The double curvature derived from a Racing design improves airflow around the screen to reduce disturbances felt on the road.

Safety and Standards

• Its rounded profile over 2 mm for models since 2004 complies with the German TUV standard.

Installation and Fitting

• Attachment to the motorcycle's original points facilitates fitting without modification of these points.
• The absence of rivets simplifies the installation of the screen.
• The Puig screen has 4 holes compared to 6 for the original screen, with adhesives provided to cover the remaining holes without screws.
• Specific to each motorcycle, it is necessary to check the application corresponding to the relevant model before fitting.

Usage and Performance

• The double curvature decreases wind effect on the helmet to enhance comfort during road journeys.
• Studied in a wind tunnel, it improves aerodynamic coefficient and wind protection by approximately 12.7% compared to the original screen.
