TOURING Screen (+ 7.5 cm) by Puig
The Puig Touring screen is designed for the BMW F900GS and enhances aerodynamic protection on the road. Its dimensions exceed those of the original screen, its profile with a flip, and its side shapes limit turbulence around the rider to improve riding comfort and reduce fatigue.
Design and Materials
- The 4 mm CN acrylic construction provides a lightweight and durable component for regular journeys.
- The UV-resistant treatment preserves the screen against sun exposure.
- The 2 mm rounded edge enhances the finish of the component and visibility through the screen.
Usage and Performance
- The aerodynamic design increases wind protection by 88% to limit the air impact on the rider.
- The upper flip deflects air pressure to reduce turbulence around the helmet.
- The lower and side shapes direct air to the sides to further protect the forearms and torso.
Practicality and Features
- The dimensions of 345 mm in width by 440 mm in height cover a larger area than the original BMW screen.
- The additional 70 mm in height enhances aerodynamic protection during road trips.
Style and Finish
- The smoked tint provides a finish that visually integrates the screen with the motorcycle.
- The pronounced edges and sporty design complement the lines of the BMW F900GS.
Safety and Standards
- The TüV certification provides a normative benchmark for the use of the screen on the road.
- The road-oriented design meets the needs for aerodynamic protection during road travel.
