Z-Racing Screen by Puig
The Z-Racing screen enhances the aerodynamic protection of the rider thanks to its double curvature and side channels. Its 3 mm high-strength acrylic design offers a lightweight and durable component, with a smoked tint to personalise the motorcycle.
Design and Materials
- The 3 mm high-strength acrylic construction combines lightness and durability for regular use.
- The rounded finish of over 2 mm complies with German TÜV safety regulations for proper integration on the motorcycle.
- The smoked tint customises the motorcycle's appearance with a distinctive finish.
Installation and Mounting
- Attachment to the motorcycle's original points simplifies the replacement of the existing screen.
- The screen is specific to each motorcycle to ensure a fit corresponding to the relevant model.
Safety and Standards
- Compliance with German TÜV regulations provides an identified regulatory framework for road use.
Practicality and Features
- With dimensions of 350 x 285 mm, it ensures a suitable format for installation on the intended motorcycle.
- With a height increase of 55 mm compared to the original, the screen increases the available surface to deflect airflow.
Usage and Performance
- The double curvature deflects wind away from the helmet and upper torso to enhance the rider's aerodynamic protection.
- The two side channels direct airflow outward to reduce pressure on the shoulders.
- Aerodynamic protection improves by an average of 12.7% in the upright position and by 61% in racing riding position compared to the original screen.
