DescriptionHealtech Traction control: rider assistant Sensor
This kit is a complementary accessory designed for the HealTech ARA-1 (Advanced Rider Assistant) security system. It is specifically designed for motorcycles without an original ABS system.
Why is this kit necessary? To function, the anti-skid system (ARA) needs to know the exact rotational speed of your wheels. On modern motorcycles, it reads the ABS sensors. On motorcycles without ABS, this information does not exist. The kit fills this gap by adding a tone wheel (a toothed crown) and a speed sensor to your front wheel.
Accuracy and Safety The disc is laser-cut from high-strength steel to ensure perfect signal reading, without runout. The supplied sensor is ultra-sensitive, allowing the ARA system to react in milliseconds in case of locking or slipping.
Mechanical Installation This kit includes everything needed to create this speed reading point: the disc is generally mounted at the brake disc mounting points, and the sensor is attached via a dedicated bracket provided.
Highlights:
Essential (Non-ABS): Allows the installation of Traction Control on older generation or track motorcycles without ABS.
High Precision: Specific toothed disc for optimal signal resolution.
Robust: Waterproof sensor and corrosion-treated steel disc.
Complete Kit: Includes the disc, sensor, and necessary screws/brackets for specific mounting.
Type : Front Wheel Sensor Kit + Target (Phonic Disc)
Material : Stainless Steel / Moulded ABS Sensor

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
Specific Use: This product is unnecessary if your motorcycle is already equipped with ABS (the ARA system then uses the original sensors). This kit is only for motorcycles WITHOUT ABS.
Supplementary: This is only part of the system. To have functional traction control, you need the ARA-1 + the wiring harness ARA-K... + this sensor kit ARA-D....
Reference: The shape of the disc and the mounting brackets are specific to a precise wheel architecture. Ensure that the reference is indeed the one recommended for your motorcycle in the parts selector.
