This kit is a complementary accessory designed for the HealTech ARA-1 (Advanced Rider Assistant) security system. It is specifically designed for motorcycles without an original ABS system.
Why is this kit necessary? To operate, the anti-skid system (ARA) must know the exact rotational speed of your wheels. On modern motorcycles, it reads the ABS sensors. On motorcycles without ABS, this information does not exist. The ARA-DD1 kit fills this gap by adding a tone wheel (a toothed crown) and a speed sensor to your front wheel.
Precision and Safety The disk is laser-cut from high-strength steel to ensure perfect signal reading, without runout. The supplied sensor is ultra-sensitive, allowing the ARA system to react within milliseconds in the event of locking or slipping.
Mechanical Installation This kit includes everything needed to create this speed reading point: the disk is generally mounted at the brake disc mounting points, and the sensor is attached via a dedicated bracket provided.
Key Features:
Essential (Non-ABS): Allows the installation of Traction Control on older generation or track motorcycles without ABS.
High Precision: Specific toothed disk for optimal signal resolution.
Robust: Waterproof sensor and disk made of corrosion-treated steel.
Complete Kit: Includes the disk, sensor, and necessary screws/brackets for specific mounting.
Type : Front Wheel Sensor Kit + Target (Phonic Disc)
Material : Stainless Steel / Moulded ABS Sensor
Function : Speed Signal Generation for ARA Module
Warranty : 2 years

Specific Use: This product is unnecessary if your motorcycle is already equipped with ABS (the ARA system then uses the original sensors). This kit is only for motorcycles WITHOUT ABS.
Complementary: This is only part of the system. To have functional traction control, you need the ARA-1 module + the wiring harness ARA-K... + this sensor kit ARA-D....
Reference DD1: The shape of the disc and the mounting brackets are specific to a precise wheel architecture. Ensure that reference DD1 is indeed the one recommended for your motorcycle in the parts selector.
